Almost all our properties have basic eligibility restrictions based on age, disability, and household composition. Please take the time now to review the properties and make a list of which you would like to apply to with these requirements in mind before you start the application process. This will save everyone time by preventing you from applying to a property you are not eligible for based on these restrictions.
Some examples:
- Appletree Village in Conway, NH is a Subsided property that is only for elderly/disabled persons and only offers one-bedroom units, households must have at least one elderly or disabled member and a maximum of 2 household members per unit.
- Conway Pines Family Apartments in Conway, NH is a Subsidized property with 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units with no restrictions based on age or disability status. Therefore a 3-person household, no matter the age or disability status, would qualify based on those characteristics alone.
- Conway Pines Senior Living in Conway, NH is an Affordable Credit type housing that is only for those households where all members are over the age of 62 at the time of application and are within a certain income range. Also, this property only offers 1- and 2-bedroom units, so the number of household members would also be limited based on unit size.
- Brookside Place in Rochester,NH is an Affordable Credit type of property for families that offer 2-bedroom units, so the maximum household size would typically be 4 (with certain exceptions) and all ages are qualified.
It will take some time to complete the application, so before you begin the process please gather the following information to assist yourself in completion:
- Birthdays and SSN numbers for all household members.
- Income information for all household members from all sources – Social Security, Employment, VA, Pensions & Annuities, Unemployment, Child support, Alimony, TANF/PATH/APTD, etc. Payee and amount received per month.
- Bank account information such as type of account, Bank name, appx current balance, interest rates. Includes brick and mortar as well as digital only banking such as Direct Express (considered a savings account for cash benefits), GreenDot, Chime, Varo, etc.
- IRA, CD, Stocks, Bonds, 401K & other investment and retirement account information. Trust information.
- Real estate information
- Life insurance information (whole life only)
- Recurring medical expenses if you or someone in the household is over 62 or disabled.
- Any student information
- Housing references (present and prior addresses, landlord contact information, dates, etc.)
- Any criminal information (type of criminal conviction and dates)
- Citizenship information
- Emergency contact information
